動(dòng)詞+ it + when從句(例句均出自詞典)

當(dāng)某些及物動(dòng)詞由于語(yǔ)義的因素需要在其后接用when引導(dǎo)的狀語(yǔ)從句時(shí)，習(xí)慣上要在狀語(yǔ)從句前加一個(gè)it——這類及物動(dòng)詞主要有enjoy, hate, love, like, dislike, appreciate, prefer等。如：

I love it when you sing. 我喜歡聽(tīng)你唱歌。

I don’t like it when you shout at me. 我不喜歡你對(duì)我大喊大叫。

I don’t like it when you get angry. 我不喜歡你生氣。

Men say they like it when women make the first move. 男人們說(shuō)他們喜歡女采取主動(dòng)。

I like it when a book is so good that you can’t put it down. 我喜歡有一本好書(shū)，它會(huì)讓你愛(ài)不釋手。

I dislike it when you whistle. 我不愛(ài)聽(tīng)你吹口哨。
