    ■人們去這些地方干在這些地方應該干的事時，上述詞語的前面不用定冠詞the。例如:

    We go：

to bed (to sleep or as invalids) 上床睡覺或（病人）臥床

to church (to pray) 去教堂禱告

to court (as litigants) 上法院打官司

to hospital (as patients) 去醫(yī)院就醫(yī)

to prison (as prisoners) 進監(jiān)獄坐牢

to school / college / university (to study) 去學校 / 學院 / 大學讀書

■同樣可以說：
