there be + 名詞 + 非謂語動詞

一、其中的非謂語動詞為現在分詞

在There be sb. doing中，doing為主語所發出的動作，補足說明主語的正在發生的行為或正處的狀態。如：

There are some boys playing games on the playground. 有些男孩子在操場上做游戲。

There are many teachers and students reading in the library. 圖書館里有很多老師和學生在看書。

有時，某些瞬間動詞go, come, join, leave, die…的doing也可表示主語即將要進行的事情。如：

As the result of pollution, there are some animals dying out. 由于污染，有些動物即將滅絕。

In our school, there are some students going to study abroad this year. 今年，我們學校將有些學生去國外學習。

二、其中的非謂語動詞為過去分詞

在There be sth. done中，done一般為及物動詞，表示主語所承受已經完成的動作或主語的心理所處的一種狀態。如：

In this book, there are some texts learnt before. 這本書里，有些課文已在以前學過。

There are still some people interested in this story. 仍然還有很多人對這個故事感興趣。

三、其中的非謂語動詞為不定式

在There be sth. to do中，不定式表示一個還未發生的動作。如：

(1) After the war, there were many things destroyed to rebuild up in the country. 戰后，整個國家百廢待興。

(2) There are lots of questions to be discussed in the meeting. 會上有很多要討論的問題。

注意：當句子主語表示為一般的事情或工作時，不定式的主動形式表被動意義，如句子(1)；若句子的主語表示某一特殊或特定的事情或工作時，不定式須用被動形式，如句子(2) 。
