A Grammar of Contemporary English P835: He enjoys visiting (﹡to visit ) his mother-in-law. 2. E. Eckersley J. M. Eckersley A Comprehensive English Grammar,L. G . 參閱他編著的A Modern English Grammar V第194頁(yè)。 A Grammar of Contemporary English第835頁(yè)認(rèn)為只接 –ing形式。 She would greatly enjoy to dance at the ball once more. —The Oxford English Dictionary 1. The Oxford English Dictionary (OED CD V3):b. with inf. as obj. colloq. or vulgar. 1864 Realm 22 June 3 She would greatly enjoy to dance at a ball once more. 2. GVR It remains to be seen whether this new power will be used in such a way as to augment the existing powers that the police enjoy to give directions to prevent the occurrence of a breach of the peace. J78 …; they may have to forgo some of the comparative freedom they enjoy to publish facts and opinions which are not.
