It be…since /before /when…從句歸納

1. “It be +時(shí)間段+since…”表示“自從……以來有多久了”，但若從句謂語是延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞時(shí)，則意為“(多久) 不做……了”。

2. “It be+時(shí)間段+before…”表示“過……之后才……”，若be是否定式，則表示“沒過……就……”。

3. “It be +時(shí)間點(diǎn)+before…”表示“在……之前，時(shí)間是……”。

4. “It be +時(shí)間點(diǎn)+when…”表示“當(dāng)……時(shí)，時(shí)間是……”。

It is three years since I joined the Party. 我入黨有三年了。

It is three years since he lived here. 他不住這里有三年了。

It will be years before we meet again. 要過幾年之后我們才能重相聚。

It was not long before he came back. 沒過多久他就回來了。

It was evening before they got here. 他們到達(dá)這里之前就已天夜了。
