形容詞 real與true的區(qū)別

1. 兩者表示“真的”“真正的”，有時可換用。如：

That is not his real [true] name. 那不是他的真實名字。

John found the real [true] solution to the problem. 約翰找到了問題的真正答案。

Let me know the real [true] state of affairs. 請把真情告訴我們。

2. 兩者細微差別主要在于：real 表示的“真”，是相對想象、錯覺、幻覺、偽造等而言的，是指現象與事實的一致性；而 true 表示“真”，主要指符合特定的標準。比較：

It’s a real man, not a robot. 那是真人，不是機器人。

He’s a true man, not a coward. 他是真正男子漢，不是懦夫。

He’s not a real friend. 他不是真朋友(即是假朋友)。

He’s not a true friend. 他不夠朋友(即是不可靠的朋友)。
