if anything與if anyone

1. if anything為習語，意為“若有什么不同的話”。如：

Her family, if anything, was richer than mine. 要說有什么區別的話,她家比我家有錢。

If anything, this coat is more expensive than that one. 如果有什么不同，那就是這件衣服比那件衣服更貴。

if anything也可以不作為習語使用，此時可按字面意思理解。如：

It would be a tragedy if anything went wrong. 如果出了什么事就是一個悲劇。

If anything had happened, he would have let her know. 如果發生了什么情況，他是會通知她的。

2. if anyone不是習語，通常直接按字面理解，即表示“有任何人”。如：

If anyone phones, I’ll be having a bath. 要是有人來電話，就說我在洗澡。

If anyone interrupted him he got angry. 如果有人打擾他，他就會生氣。
