▲be angry about 為……生氣　　

The teacher was rather angry at what you said. 老師對你說的話相當生氣。　　

The man was angry at being kept waiting. 這個人因別人讓他久等而很惱火。　　

My sister was angry about missing the film. 沒看上那部電影我妹妹很氣惱。　　

【注】表示對某事生氣，可說be angry about，也可說be angry at，其區別為：介詞 at 后接某人之言行，而 about 之后接某事， 但這種區別并不十分嚴格，兩者有時可換用。但是，表示對某事生氣，通常不能用介詞 with。　　

▲be anxious about 為……擔心（擔憂）　　

I’m very anxious about him. 我很為他擔心。　　

He was anxious about her absence. 他擔心她不來。　　

▲be careless about 對……不注意（粗心）　　

He’s careless about his appearance. 他不修邊幅。　　

She’s careless about the consequences. 他不顧后果。　　

▲be cautious about 對……謹慎（仔細）　　

He is cautious about spending money. 他用錢仔細。　　

She is cautious about giving offence to others. 她注意不得罪人。　　

▲be certain about 對……有把握（自信）　　

He’s certain of success. 他自信會成功。　　

Are you certain about that? 你對此有把握嗎?　　

▲be concerned about 為……擔心；關心，關注　　

We are very much concerned about his health. 我們十分擔心他的健康。　　

I’m concerned about whether he has signed the contract. 我很關心他是否在合同上簽了字。　　

▲be curious about 對……好奇（想知道）　　

Children are curious about everything. 兒童對什么都感到好奇。　　

Don’t be too curious about things you’re not supposed to know. 對于你不該知道的事情不要過多去打聽。　　

▲be disappointed about 對……感到失望　　

She was very disappointed about losing the race. 她輸了這場比賽，感到很失望。　　

He must be very disappointed about your exam results. 他對你的考試成績一定非常失望。　　

【注】disappointed后可接多個介詞，其區別大致為：表示對某人感到失望，一般用介詞 with 或 in；表示對某一行為感到失望，一般用介詞 at 或about；表示對某一事實或情況感到失望，一般用介詞 with, at或in。　　

▲be doubtful about 對……感到懷疑　　

He was doubtful about her story. 他對她的話表示懷疑。　　

We are doubtful about the weather for tomorrow. 我們對明天的天氣沒有把握。　　

▲be excited about 因……而興奮（激動)　　

What are you so excited about? 你為什么如此興奮？　　

It’s nothing to get excited about. 這沒有什么值得興奮的。　　

▲be glad about 對……感到高興　　

He is glad about my new job. 他為我的新工作感到高興。　　

My aunt was very glad about my arrival. 姨媽對我的到來感到很高興。　　

▲be happy about 對……感到高興　　

He is happy about his promotion. 他得到提升，感到很高興。　　

We are happy about his letter. 收到他的來信我們很高興。
