英語強調句可用it is … which…嗎

大家知道，英語的強調句通常采用it is (was) … that (who) …這樣的句式，一般認為不能使用it is (was) … which …這樣的強調句。但事實上后者這樣的強調句用法也是可能的，我們不僅在閱讀中經常可以見到，就是在英美詞典中也可偶爾可查到這類強調句式。如：　　

1. It is the chief executive’s opinion which is ultimately decisive. 　　

行政首長的意見具有最終的決定作用。（注意加粗部分的it is…which…）

2. In English it is usually the subject which determines the number of the verb. 　　

英語中一般由主語決定動詞的數。（注意加粗部分的it is…which…）

3. I think it must have been that prawn curry which gave me the trots.

關于強調句用it is (was) … which …這一句式的用法，《薄冰高級英語語法》補充指出：“強調結構如強調狀語則不可用which從句。”
