涉及連詞用法的四個高頻考點

1. 考查并列連詞and, but, or, so的用法

and, but, or, so, yet屬最基本的并列連詞，高考對它們的考查主要涉及其基本義的理解，即考生只要能看懂句意，同時將所給選項分別代入句中，意思最通順者，即為最佳答案。

例題  You have to move out of the way _______ the truck cannot get past you.

A. so                      B. or                      C. and                    D. but

解析：答案為B。or 在此表示“否則”“要不然”。又如：Don’t mention my name or you’ll get me into trouble. 別提我的名字，免得給我惹麻煩。

2. 考查“祈使句+and / or+陳述句”句式

在“祈使句+and / or+陳述句”句式中，and表示自然的結果，or表示反面的結果（意思是“否則”）。如：

例題  Bring the flowers into a warm room _______ they’ll soon open.

A. or                    B. and                      C. but                    D. for

解析：答案為B。and表示自然的結果，句意為：把花放進一個溫暖的房間，它們會很快地綻放。比較：Bring the flowers into a warm room, or they’ll soon die. 把花放進一個溫暖的房間，否則它們很快就會死掉。

3. 考查while用作并列連詞的用法

while通常用作從屬連詞，表示時間，其意為“當……的時候”；但 while 有時也用作并列連詞，表示對比，其意為“而”。如：

4. 考查when用作并列連詞的用法

when通常用作從屬連詞，表示時間，其意為“當……的時候”；但 when 有時也用作并列連詞，表示對比，其意為“這時”“就在此時”。
