▲2. 查閱詞典，在介詞條目下，on 并沒有表示“繼續(xù)”的用法，而是跟某些動(dòng)詞連用，引出所進(jìn)行的活動(dòng)，特別在旅行方面。意為“處于...情況中，在從事…中”（We use on to introduce an activity that someone is doing, particularly travelling. ）。這說明，介詞on雖然可以跟 go 連用，但不表示“繼續(xù)”，而是“從事于某中活動(dòng)”。例如：　　

go on a holiday

I'd love to go on a holiday but I can't afford the time. 我倒想去度假,可是抽不出時(shí)間來。　　

go on a trip　　

As the day was fine, they decided to go on a trip. 由于天氣好,他們決定作一次短途旅行。　　

go on a tour　　　　

We are going on a tour of the city this afternoon. 我們今天下午要到城里去觀光。　　

go on a vacation　　　　

He never goes on a vacation but he takes his pet dog. 他每次度假都會(huì)帶他的狗去。　　

go on a diet　　　　

The doctor says I've got to go on a diet. 醫(yī)生說我得節(jié)食。 　　

go on strike　　　　

The workers go on strike to ask for higher pay.為了提高工資，工人們舉行了罷工。　　

go on a hike　　　　

We took advantage of the fine weather to go on a hike. 我們利用晴朗的天氣去旅游。　　　　

go on a journey　　　　

He made a resolve to go on a journey early in the next morning.他決意明天一早就動(dòng)身。

go on an excursion　　　　

Weather permitting, we'll go on an excursion to the Western Hills tomorrow.天氣要是合適,我們明天將去西山去玩。　　

go on an expedition　　　　

The scientists will go on an expedition to the South Pole.這些科學(xué)家們將要去南極考察。　　

go on an outing　　　　

I'll go on an outing with some friends.我與朋友去郊游。　　

go on an errand　　　　

My mother asked me to go on an errand; she wanted me to buy some food.我媽媽叫我跑一下腿，她想讓我去買點(diǎn)食物。　　

go on a picnic　　　　

We will play sports or go on a picnic.我們將做戶外運(yùn)動(dòng)或去野餐。　　

go on business　　　　

I will go on business either this week or next week. 我將在這星期或下星期出差。　　

▲3. go on doing結(jié)構(gòu)，on到底是不是介詞？通過結(jié)構(gòu)看詞性，下面我們做個(gè)類比：　　

① go on with　　

② go on to do　　

③ go on doing　　

go on with 結(jié)構(gòu)，如果認(rèn)為 on 是表“繼續(xù)”的介詞，那么，go on with 中的 with豈不多余？　　

go on to do 結(jié)構(gòu)，如果認(rèn)為 on 是表“繼續(xù)”的介詞，那么，后面能跟不定式to do嗎？　　

三個(gè)短語中，on 都表達(dá)“繼續(xù)”之意。前兩個(gè) on  是副詞，go on doing 中，on 能改變?cè)~性嗎？
