副詞ever可用于哪些句型

1. 主要用于否定句、疑問(wèn)句、條件句、比較句等，其意大致相當(dāng)于漢語(yǔ)的“曾經(jīng)”“以前”等，有時(shí)往往有較活的譯法。如：

Nobody else could ever say such a thing. 沒(méi)有別人會(huì)說(shuō)這樣的話。

Please don’t ever do that again. 請(qǐng)不要再這樣做。

Did anybody ever hear of such a thing? 誰(shuí)聽(tīng)見(jiàn)過(guò)這樣的事?

He argued harder than ever. 他爭(zhēng)論得比過(guò)去更加激烈了。

She was as interested in music as ever. 她對(duì)音樂(lè)還是像過(guò)去那樣有興趣。

If you ever visit London, you must come and stay with us. 你要是到倫敦來(lái)，一定要到我們這里住住。

有時(shí)也可hardly, few, little等半否定詞連用。如：

It hardly ever snows here. 這兒幾乎從不下雪。

Very few ever stopped to listen. 很少人停下來(lái)聽(tīng)。

2. 在通常情況下，ever（曾經(jīng)）不用于肯定句中。如：

我曾經(jīng)學(xué)過(guò)3年吉他。

誤：I ever studied the guitar for three years.

正：I once studied the guitar for three years.

但是，在以下情況，ever 也可用于肯定句：

(1) 在修飾“最高級(jí)+名詞”結(jié)構(gòu)的定語(yǔ)從句中。如：

This is the worst cold I ever had. 這是我患過(guò)的最嚴(yán)重的感冒。

She is the ablest girl I’ve ever met. 她是我見(jiàn)到過(guò)的最有才干的姑娘。

(2) 具有較強(qiáng)懷疑語(yǔ)氣的句子中。如：

I wonder if he’d ever stopped to think how I felt. 我不知道他是否曾經(jīng)想過(guò)我的感受。

(3) 修飾比較級(jí)，表示“越來(lái)越”“日益”。如：

The situation there is becoming ever more complicated. 那兒的情況越來(lái)越復(fù)雜了。

(4) 表示“總是”“經(jīng)常”（=always）。如：

He is ever ready to find fault. 他老是喜歡挑毛病。

這種用法在現(xiàn)代英語(yǔ)中已很少見(jiàn)，通常用 always 代之。

(5) 用于某些習(xí)語(yǔ)，如for ever(永遠(yuǎn))，ever since（自從……以來(lái)），ever so（非常），ever such（非常）等。
