feel用作系動詞和實義動詞的用法歸納

一、用作連系動詞

(1) 表示某人的感覺，以人作主語。如：

I feel really tired. 我覺得實在累了。

Whenever I see you I feel nervous. 我一見到你就緊張。

用于此義時，可用于進行時態。如：

I feel fine. / I’m feeling fine. 我感覺良好。/ 我現在感覺良好。

She feels [is feeling] much better today. 今天她感到好多了。

(2) 表示某物摸起來給人的感覺或表示使人感覺起來有什么特征等，通常要以被摸或被感覺之物作主語。如：

Your hand feels cold. 你的手摸起來很涼。

Nothing feels right in our new house. 我們新房子里，樣樣都覺得不對勁。

注意該用法雖有被動含義，但不用于被動語態；同時也不用于進行時態，并且其后一般也不接 to be。如：

綢緞摸起來柔軟光滑。

誤：Silk is felt soft and smooth.

誤：Silk is feeling soft and smooth.

誤：Silk feels to be soft and smooth.

正：Silk feels soft and smooth.

比較同義句：

大理石摸起來很光滑。

正：Marble feels smooth

正：Marble is smooth to the touch.

二、用作實義動詞

(1) 其后可接不定式的復合結構作賓語，其中的不定式不帶to。如：

She felt the tears roll down her cheeks. 她感到眼淚流了下來。

I felt something crawl up my arm. 我覺得有什么東西順著我的胳膊向上爬。

其后也通常接現在分詞的復合結構，所以上面兩句中的 roll, crawl 也可換成rolling, crawling。

根據需要，有時也可能用過去分詞的復合結構。如：

He felt a great weight taken off his mind. 他感到去掉了一件大心事。

但是，若其中的不定式為to be，則必須保留to。如：

He felt the plan to be unwise. 他認為這計劃不明智。

比較同義句：

He felt them to be right.

=He felt that they were right. 他認為他們是對的。

=They all felt that the plan was unwise. 他們都認為這個計劃不明智。

(2) 當接不定式、動名詞或從句作賓語時，通常應形式賓語it。如：

He feels it his duty to help others. 他認為幫助別人是他的責任。

I felt it a terrible thing that my mother should have to toil so endlessly. 我感到母親老得沒完沒了地干苦活太可怕了。

(3) feel sth與feel for sth意思不同，前者意為“摸某物”，后者意為“摸著找某物”。如：

The doctor was feeling her pulse. 醫生正在為她號脈。

He was feeling for the keyhole in the dark. 他摸黑找鑰匙孔。

注意，feel for sb 意為“同情某人”。如：

I really felt for him in all these troubles. 我非常同情他這些煩惱。
