suit表示的用法與搭配說明

1. 用作動(dòng)詞，表示“適合”、“合適”，主要有兩方面的意思，一是指合某人的意或使某人滿意；二是指衣服、顏色等與某人相稱或適合等。如：

The seven o’clock train suits will suit us very well. 七點(diǎn)鐘的那一班火車對(duì)我們很合適。

Will it suit you if we eat now? 如果我們現(xiàn)在吃飯，你覺得合適嗎?

The change of plan did not suit him at all. 改變計(jì)劃一點(diǎn)不合他意。

2. 用于 be suited for [to]，意為“適合”。如：

This car is not well suited for [to] rough roads. 這種車不適合在崎嶇的道路上行駛。
