fly主要用于人和哪些事物

1. 表示“飛”，除用于鳥、飛機等在空中飛之外，還可指人乘飛機飛行、人駕駛飛機、飛機飛越某地等。如：

I often fly CAAC. 我經常乘坐中國民航。

I’m flying to Hong Kong tomorrow. 明天我要乘飛機去香港。

Powerful aircraft now fly the Atlantic in a few hours. 大飛機現在幾小時就可以飛過大西洋。

2. 駕駛飛機用動詞 fly，駕駛汽車用動詞 drive, 駕駛船舶用動詞 sail，騎馬、自行車摩托車等用動詞 ride。如：

He flew the plane over to France. 他駕飛機去了法國。

You cannot be too careful in driving a car. 開車時再怎么小心也不為過。

It’s ages since I sailed a boat. 我好久沒有駕駛帆船。

有時用于引申義。如：
