it may be that…的意思與用法

it may be that…句式在意思上相當于It is possible that…或possibly / perhaps，主要用于表示推測，意思是“也許”“可能”。如：

It may be that our letter never reached her. 我們的信可能根本沒送到她那兒。

It may be that we’ll find him at the hotel. 也許我們會在旅館里找到他。

Ask him again. It may be that he’ll change his mind. 再請他一次，也許他會改變主意。
