職務(wù)和頭銜名詞前冠詞的使用問(wèn)題

在通常情況下，當(dāng)表示職務(wù)及頭銜的名詞用作表語(yǔ)、補(bǔ)足語(yǔ)及同位語(yǔ)時(shí)，表示職務(wù)及頭銜的名詞前一般不冠詞。如：

She was captain of the Olympic swimming team. 她是長(zhǎng)山奧林匹克游泳隊(duì)隊(duì)長(zhǎng)。

When he failed to turn up for training, he was relieved of his duties as captain. 他沒(méi)有出席訓(xùn)練，被免除了隊(duì)長(zhǎng)職務(wù)。

He is chairman of the Parent Teacher Association. 他是家長(zhǎng)教師會(huì)的主席。

He played down his chances of becoming chairman. 他對(duì)自己擔(dān)當(dāng)主席的可能性輕描淡寫。

She replaced Jane Stott as Managing Director. 她接替簡(jiǎn)·斯托特做了總裁。

He will be giving his farewell concert as Music Director of the Ulster Orchestra. 作為烏爾斯特交響樂(lè)團(tuán)的音樂(lè)總監(jiān)，他將在離任前舉行一場(chǎng)告別音樂(lè)會(huì)。

注：有時(shí)也可用定冠詞，但以不用為多見(jiàn)。
