英語的現在分詞可以有進行式嗎

英語的現在分詞與動名詞一樣，只有一般式和完成式，但沒有進行式，也就是說英語中不存在 being doing 這樣的表達形式。如：

誤：Being reading a book, he found a misprint. 他看書時，發現有一個地方印錯了。

正：Reading a book, he found a misprint. 他看書時，發現有一個地方印錯了。

誤：Being walking through the park, we saw a fine flower show. 從公園穿過時，我們看到漂亮的花卉展。

正：Walking through the park, we saw a fine flower show. 從公園穿過時，我們看到漂亮的花卉展。

誤：Being walking on tiptoe, I approached the little window. 我踮著腳，走近那個小窗戶。

正：Walking on tiptoe, I approached the little window. 我踮著腳，走近那個小窗戶。

誤：Being stepping carelessly off the pazement, he was knocked down by the bus. 他不小心離開了人行道，被公共汽車撞倒了。

正：Stepping carelessly off the pazement, he was knocked down by the bus. 他不小心離開了人行道，被公共汽車撞倒了。

但是，現在分詞可與助動詞be一起構成進行時態，但這樣一來，現在分詞已不是非謂語動詞，而是謂語的一部分。如：

The government is trying to keep prices down. 政府正在設法降低物價。

We’re learning to control the return of spaceships. 我們正在研究回收宇宙飛船。

The dogs are hunting for the weapon buried somewhere. 那些狗正在尋找埋在某處的兇器。

He is studying an important problem, and nothing can call away his attention. 他正在研究一個重要問題，什么也不能使他分心。
