We are at the beginning

“We are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book whose pages are infinite…”

I do not know who wrote those words, but I have always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want to make it. We can take the mysterious, hazy future and carve out of it anything that we can imagine, just like a sculptor carves a statue from a shapeless stone.

We are all in the position of the farmer. If we plant a good seed, we reap a good harvest. If our seed is poor and full of weeds, we reap a useless crop. If we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all.

I want the future to be better than the past. I don’t want it contaminated by the mistakes and errors with which history is filled. We should all be concerned about the future because that is where we will spend the reminder of our lives.

The past is gone and static. Nothing we can do will change it. The future is before us and dynamic. Everything we do will effect it. Each day we will bring with it new frontiers, in our homes and in our businesses, if we will only make our efforts. We are just at the beginning of the progress in every field of human endeavor.

我不知道這些文字是誰寫的，但是我一直很喜歡它們并用它們來提醒自己，未來的好壞完全取決于我自己。我們可以掌握神秘而不可知的未來，并且從中創(chuàng)出我們所能想象的任何東西，正如雕刻家可以將未成型的石頭雕刻出雕像一樣。

我們每個人都像農(nóng)夫。如果我們種下一顆好的種子，我們就會獲得豐收；如果我們的種子長得不好，并且播種后雜草叢生，我們就會徒勞無獲；如果我們什么也不種，就根本不會有任何收獲。

我希望未來會比過去更好。我不希望未來被那些充斥在歷史中的錯誤所污染。我們應關心未來，因為我們的余生都要在未來中度過。

過去已經(jīng)一去不復返并且成為了靜止的，我們無法做任何事情來改變它。未來就在我們眼前并且是動態(tài)的，我們所做的任何一件事情都會影響未來。每天都可能發(fā)現(xiàn)新的領域，在家中或是在我們的事業(yè)中，只要我們愿意付出努力。我們正處在人類所努力鉆研的每個領域中進步的起點。

人生總是不斷向前發(fā)展的，很多時候，我們總是因為過去的一些錯誤而耿耿于懷，以至于未來的日子里都充滿著不開心。其實過去的已經(jīng)無法挽回，但是生活依然在繼續(xù)，為什么不放開懷抱努力向前呢，因為每一天都是一個新的起點，從現(xiàn)在開始，好好學習，好好工作，珍惜好每一天，這樣我們的未來才會變得更加美好！
