impress的同義句型與易錯句型

1. 表示給某人留下深刻印象或使某人明白或銘記，注意以下同義句型：

他的誠實給我們留下了很深的印象。

正：He impressed us with his honesty.

正：We were impressed with [by] his honesty.

他要我銘記努力工作的重要性。

正：He impressed on me the importance of hard work.

正：He impressed me with the importance of hard work.

2. 在 impress sb as…這一結構中，as 結構所指的往往是句子主語，而不是 impress 的賓語。如：

He impressed me as a scholar.

正：他給我的印象是（他）像個學者。

誤：他對我的印象是（我）像個學者。

3. 其過去分詞可受 very, much, very much, deeply, greatly 等修飾。如：

I was very (greatly, deeply) impressed by [at, with] his performance. 他的演出給我深刻的印象。
