引導條件狀語從句的連詞及用法

引導條件狀語從句的連詞主要有if, unless, as [so] long as, in case 等。如：

If he gets any worse, we must phone for an ambulance. 要是他情況惡化，我們就得打電話叫救護車了。

Unless there is any other business, we can end the meeting. 如果沒有別的事情，我們的會議可以結束了。

As long as you’ve paid in advance we won’t charge you for delivery. 只要你預先付款，我們就不收你送貨費。

If case I forget, please remind me about it. 萬一我忘記，請請醒我一下。

注意，在條件狀語從句中，通常要用一般現在時表示將來意義，而不能直接使用將來時態。不過，有時表示條件的 if之后可能用 will，但那不是將來時態, 而是表示意愿、委婉請求或執意等，此時的will為情態動詞。如：

If you will follow me, I’ll show you the way. 請跟我來，我給你指路。

I’ll pay for the hotel, if you will for the food. 如果你愿付伙食錢，我就來付旅館錢。

If you won’t leave, I’ll have to call security. 如果你不離開，我就只好叫保安了。
