引導原因狀語從句的從屬連詞主要有because, as, since, seeing (that), now (that), considering (that) 等。如：

I didn’t recognize him because he had altered so much. 我沒認出他來，因為他變了許多。

I went to bed early, as I was exhausted. 睡得早，因為我筋疲力盡了。

Since you’ve accepted the invitation, I’ll also accept it. 既然你已接受邀請，那我也接受邀請。

Seeing that he’s ill he’s unlikely to come. 因為他病了，他大概不來了。

引導方式狀語從句的從屬連詞主要有as, as if, as though, the way, how等。如：

You must do as your parents tell you. 你必須按你父母說的去做。

They treated the child as if she were their own. 他們待這孩子像親生的一樣。

The didn’t do it the way we do now. 那時他們不像我們現在這樣行事。

The steak is cooked just how I like it. 牛排正像我喜歡的那樣做了。
