中考英語涉及比較等級(jí)的五個(gè)重點(diǎn)

重點(diǎn)一  比較級(jí)的基本用法（高頻考點(diǎn)）

英語比較等級(jí)的使用原則是：不作比較用原級(jí)，兩者比較用比較級(jí)，三者或多者比較用最高級(jí)級(jí)。同學(xué)們做比較級(jí)考題時(shí)要特別注意句中是否有表示比較意義的標(biāo)志詞than，若有，句子原則上應(yīng)用比較級(jí)。如：

I didn’t buy the second-hand book because the seller wanted ______ money than I had expected. (山東日照中考題)

A. less                   B. least                  C. most                  D. more

答案為D。根據(jù)句中的than可知，空格處應(yīng)填比較級(jí)，而不是最高級(jí)，故可排除C和D；再根據(jù)句意，之所以沒有買那本舊書是因?yàn)橘u主要價(jià)比自己的期望要高，故選D。

重點(diǎn)二  最高級(jí)的基本用法（高頻考點(diǎn)）

使用最高級(jí)的前提是對(duì)三者或多者進(jìn)行比較，而體現(xiàn)三者或多者比較的方式主要有兩種：一是使用比較范圍（如in our class, of the team, among the crowd等），二是通過句子本身的語境來體現(xiàn)。如：

1. The population problem may be ______ one of the world today. (山東泰安中考題)

A. the most           B. most difficult    C. the greatest      D. more interesting

答案為C。根據(jù)句中的比較范圍 of the world（在全世界）可知，說話人是把人口問題在世界范圍內(nèi)跟其他的問題進(jìn)行比較，故應(yīng)用最高級(jí)。

2. Breakfast is ______ meal of the day. It provides us with energy after a long night without food. (山東臨沂中考題)

A. important                                              B. more important

C. the most important                              D. very important

答案為C。說話人是把早餐在一日三餐中作比較，故應(yīng)用最高級(jí)。

重點(diǎn)三  比較等級(jí)的修飾語（普通考點(diǎn)）

用于比較級(jí)前的常見的修飾語有much, even, still, a lot, a great deal, a bit等，用于最高級(jí)前的常見的修飾語有nearly, almost, not quite, second, third等。但是注意，比較級(jí)和最高級(jí)前不能用more和most修飾。如：

The actress is already 50, but she looks ______ than she really is. (廣州中考題)

A. young              B. more young     C. more younger  D. much younger

答案為D。根據(jù)句中的than可知應(yīng)選比較級(jí)，比較級(jí)可用much修飾，但不能用more修飾。
