according to的用法

【基本用法】其基本意思是“按照，根據(jù)”。如：

According to the timetable, the train gets in at 8:27. 根據(jù)時(shí)刻表，火車8點(diǎn)27分進(jìn)站。

According to the law, you must stop at a red light. 依照法律，遇到紅燈必須停車。

 When (it is) taken according to the instructions, the drug has no side effects. 若按說明服用，本藥無任何副作用。

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs. 各盡所能，各取所需。

注意短語(go) according to plan 按計(jì)劃：

Everything went according to plan. 一切按計(jì)劃進(jìn)行。

【重點(diǎn)難點(diǎn)】

1. 通常指的是根據(jù)別人或別處，而不能根據(jù)自己，所以它不能用于第一人稱，同時(shí)也很少用于第二人稱，而主要用于第三人稱，如不能說：

According to me, she is not honest. 但可說：

According to him, she is not honest. 據(jù)他說，她不誠實(shí)。

2. 用于此義的 according to后習(xí)慣上不接view(看法)和opinion(意見)這類詞，如不能說：

According to my opinion, the film is wonderful. 可改為：

In my opinion, the film is wonderful. 依我看，這部電影很不錯。

3. according to是介詞，其后原則上只接名詞或代詞，不接句子。若接句子，則用according as：

Everyone contributes according as he is able. 每個(gè)人根據(jù)自己的能力作出貢獻(xiàn)。

但對于那些由what, which, whether, how, when, where等引導(dǎo)的句子，其前要用according to，不用according as：

He is an honest businessman, according to what everyone says. 根據(jù)大家所說，他是位誠實(shí)的商人。

The amount of tax people pay varies according to where they live. 居住地不同，人們所交的稅額也各不相同。

These apples have been graded according to how big they are. 這些蘋果已經(jīng)按照大小分了等級。

They were arranged according to when they happened. 它們是按發(fā)生的時(shí)間安排的。
