用錯不定冠詞的幾種情形

1. 單數可數名詞若泛指，其前需加 a/an，不要按漢語習慣漏掉此不定冠詞：

在英國史密斯是很普通的名字。

正：Smith is a very common name in England.

誤：Smith is very common name in England.

2. 不定冠詞不能與指示代詞、物主代詞、所有格等連用：

我在公園遇到了我的一位朋友。

正：I met a friend of mine in the park.

誤：I met my a friend in the park.

3. 不要受漢語影響而用錯不定冠詞位置：

這足以證明這種概念是不可靠的。

正：This is enough to prove the falseness of such a conception.

誤：This is enough to prove the falseness of a such conception.
