關于“of + 抽象名詞”

“of＋抽象名詞”的用法與形容詞用法相同，在句中可作表語、定語、補語。根據需要，抽象名詞(如use, value, help, importance, difference等)前面可用little, some, any, no, great, not much 等修飾。如：

It’s not of much value. 這沒有多大價值。

The story is of no interest. 這個故事沒有趣味。

It’s an invention of great importance. 這是一項非常重要的發明。

這類用法通常可用相應的同根形容詞代替。如：

Your help is of great value to us.

= Your help is very valuable to us.

你們的幫助對我們很有價值。
