修飾特殊形容詞的特殊副詞

有的形容詞在需要加強(qiáng)語(yǔ)氣時(shí)，習(xí)慣上有自己特定的副詞。如：

(1) well worth 很值得

It was well worth waiting for. 這件事倒是很值得等待。

The exhibition is well worth a visit. 這個(gè)展覽會(huì)值得一看。

(2) sound (fast, deeply) asleep 熟睡

Don’t wake her up—she’s fast (sound) asleep. 別吵醒她，她睡得很熟(很香)。

The postman comes at 6.30 in the morning, at which time I am usually fast asleep. 郵遞員早晨6點(diǎn)30分來(lái), 這個(gè)時(shí)候我通常還睡著大覺(jué)呢。

(3) wide (fully) awake 完全醒了

She rose, still not quite fully awake. 她起身時(shí)還沒(méi)完全醒過(guò)來(lái)。

He was wide awake when he reached the village. 他抵達(dá)村子時(shí)已完全醒了。

(4) well content 非常滿意

I shall be well content to do so. 我會(huì)非常高興這樣做。

I should be well content to do the job together with you. 我很愿意和你一起干這件工作。
