    ■人們去這些地方干在這些地方應該干的事時，上述詞語的前面不用定冠詞the。例如:

to bed (to sleep or as invalids) 上床睡覺或（病人）臥床

to church (to pray) 去教堂禱告

to court (as litigants) 上法院打官司

to hospital (as patients) 去醫院就醫

to prison (as prisoners) 進監獄坐牢

■同樣可以說：
