it struck sb that...句式

It struck sb that…是英語中一個很有用的句式，其意為“某人突然感到（覺得）……”。句首的 it 可視為形式主語。如：

It struck me that she had come to borrow money. 我忽然想起她是來借錢的。

It struck her that she ought to make a new plan. 她突然想起她應當擬一個新計劃。

It struck me that nobody was in favour of the change. 我突然感到沒有人贊成這種改變。

有時也和一般現(xiàn)在時。如：

It strikes me Jim is a nice lad. 我覺得吉姆是一個好小伙子。

類似的還有：It occurred to him that…。如：

It suddenly occurred to him that this was an act he could never do. 他突然想到這是他絕不能做的一件事。

注意，有時用于否定句。如：

It never occurred to her to ask anyone. 她從未想到問問他人。
