key之后不可以接of 嗎？

■賴世雄編著《英文實用解析詞匯》(下)(清華大學出版社 1997年12月第1版) p1：　　

the key of the room (×)　　

從以上可知，賴世雄先生認為key 作“鑰匙”講，其后不可以接of。然而事實卻是key之后不僅可以接to，也可以接of。這一論點在中外語法專著中都可以找到論證。

1. 呂志士主編《英語慣用法大詞典》(中國科學技術出版社 1994年12月第1版)p1072: key作“鑰匙”解，后面一般跟介詞to，表示是“……的鑰匙” ，但現在也有跟介詞of的情況，如：Please dend us a porter with a key of that room.　　

2. 楊民生主編《英語語法正誤詞典》(湖北教育出版社 1996年3月第1版)p599: key 1)作“鑰匙”講時可與to或 of連用。　　

R：I’ve lost the key to (或of )the door. 這門上的鑰匙我掉了。
