一、averse  的用法

其意為：(文或修辭)不喜歡某事物; 反對某事物(not liking sth; opposed to sth)。主要用作作表語。例如：

He seems to be averse to hard work. 看來他不愿做艱苦的工作。

They are averse to taking action. 他們不愿采取行動。

He is not averse to nip/nipping now and then. 他不反對偶爾喝點酒。

二、averse的搭配

1. absolutely / deeply / extremely / greatly / strongly averse。例如：

He is absolutely averse to anything like[that resembles] flattery.他絕對反對恭維之類的。

2. very / very much averse。例如：

I am very/ very much averse to your coming here. 我非常不愿意你來這里。

3. averse to / from。例如:(www.hz123456.com)

The minister is averse to/from flattery. 部長不喜歡聽恭維話。
