非謂語動詞否定式用法說明　　

一、基本構成方法　　

非謂語動詞的否定式通常是將否定詞not置于正個非謂語動詞之前——如果非謂語動詞為完成式，則應將否定詞置于having或to have之前；如果非謂語動詞為被動式，則應將否定詞置于being或to be之前。如：　　

He pretended not to see me. 他假裝沒看見我。　　

You were lucky not to be killed. 你大難不死，真是好運氣。　　

She’s angry about not having been invited. 她對沒有受到邀請感到生氣。　　

二、值得注意的問題　　

當非謂語前帶有邏輯主語時，否定句詞習慣上是放在邏輯主語后，非謂語動詞之前。如：　　

I’m surprised at your not having noticed. 你竟未注意到我感到吃驚。　　

In case of my not being here, ask my brother to help you. 如果我不在可讓我弟弟幫助你。　　

注意，so as to do sth 和in order to do sth這兩個結構的否定式，我們總是把否定詞置于不定式符號to之前，而不是置于整個結構之前或其他位置。如：　　

Go in quietly so as not to wake the baby. 一進去時不要出聲，以免把寶寶吵醒。　　

They must have worn gloves in order not to leave any fingerprints. 他們一定戴上了手套，以防留下指紋。
