如何理解feel differently

新目標英語九年級4頁中的3a 中有這樣一句話：

Wei Ming feels differently.

許多朋友問，這個句子中為什么為 feel differently，而不用 feel different 呢？這里是不是用錯了呢？

其實這個句子是完全正確的。課文的語境是這樣的：

Wei Ming feels differently.He’s been learning English for six years and really loves it.He thinks studying grammar is a great way to learn a language.

很顯然，在這個特定的語境中，若用feel different反而錯了。

不錯，feel 作為連系動詞，其后應接形容詞作表語，而不是接副詞。如：

正：He feels happy. 他感到幸福。

誤：He feels happily.

這個句子的實際思是“他感到他是幸福的”，相當于說 He feels that he is happy.

現(xiàn)在我們來看看 feel differently 和 feel different：前者中的feel 是實意動詞，后者中的feel為連系動詞。比較：

Wei Ming feels differently. 魏明有不同看法。（相當于Wei Ming has different ideas.）

Wei Ming feels different. 魏明感覺與眾不同。（相當于 Wei Ming feels that he is different from others.）
