means, method, way的區(qū)別

區(qū)別一：三者均可表示“方式”“方法”，其中以way 最普通，也最不正式，若僅從意義上說(shuō)，它�？捎脕�(lái)代替另外兩個(gè)詞。在許多口語(yǔ)表達(dá)中，從理論上看使用means或method可能表意更準(zhǔn)確些，但是那樣可能會(huì)損害表達(dá)的生動(dòng)性。如：

Only in this way can we learn English. 只有這樣才能學(xué)會(huì)英語(yǔ)。(此句中的in this way就相當(dāng)于by this method)

區(qū)別二：在名詞前很少使用way of，而通常代之以means of或method of。如：

We tried all possible means of communication, but we couldn’t get in touch with him. 我們已經(jīng)用了一切能用的聯(lián)系辦法，但是都沒(méi)能跟他取得聯(lián)系。

The 19th century saw a revolution in methods of transport. 19世紀(jì)發(fā)生了一次運(yùn)輸手段的革命。
