注意英漢詞序不同

請看下面的兩個句子：

A. food and drink, rich and poor          B. drink and food, rich and poor

C. food and drink, poor and rich          D. drink and food, poor and rich

此題應選A。容易誤選D。主要是受漢語詞序習慣的影響——“飲食”和“貧富”。

關于這個問題，要注意以下幾點。如：

1. 某些用and連接的兩個詞，與漢語順序相反，不要按漢語詞序顛倒過來。如：

rich and poor 貧富

land and water 水陸

right and left 左右

north and south 南北

food and drink 飲食

food and clothing 衣食

以下各表達，通常也不能倒過來。如：

now and then 不時，時時，不時

heart and soul 全心全意地
