Personification（擬人）是指把物（包括物體、動物、思想或抽象概念）擬作人，使其具有人的外表、個性或情感的這樣的修辭手段。借用Personification（擬人）可以表現作者的思想感情，增強語言的感染力和生動性，使表現對象栩栩如生，活靈活現，并使其特征更為突出感人。

◆Wall has ears.

◆Wind whispers in the breeze.

◆The streamlet murmurs sadly.

◆Youth is wild, and age is tame.

◆Thirsty soil drank in the rain

◆The sun kissed the green fields.

◆Death walks closer to the patient.
