簡單句共有五種基本句型

一、主語+不及動詞

My head aches. 我頭疼。

Everybody laughed. 大家都笑了。

二、主語+連系動詞+表語

English is very easy. 英語很容易。

He looks tired. 他看上去是累了。

三、主語+及物動詞+直接賓語

She likes the flowers. 她喜歡這些花。

Dad bought a car. 父親買了輛汽車。

四、主語+及物動詞+間接賓語+直接賓語

He told her the news. 他把這消息告訴了她。

He gave me an apple. 他給了我一只蘋果。

五、主語+及物動詞+賓語+賓語補語

He told me to stay home. 他叫我呆在家里。

The smell made him sick. 這氣味使他惡心。

說明：上述各例都簡化到了最低限度，在此基礎上，我們可以加上一些修飾成分使句子變得更復雜，表達更豐富的內容。如：

In fact, English is very easy to teach. 事實上，英語很容易教。

She likes the flowers very much. 她非常喜歡這些花。

He told her the news on the home. 他把回家的路上這消息告訴了她。
