【注】有時(shí)也說(shuō)beyond comparison。如：　　

Our quality is far beyond comparison. 我們的質(zhì)量是無(wú)與倫比的。　　

beyond control 無(wú)法控制，失去控制　　

The children were beyond control. 這些孩子不聽(tīng)管教。　　

【注】在實(shí)際使用時(shí)，該短語(yǔ)通常說(shuō)成beyond one’s control。如：　　

The situation was beyond our control. 這局勢(shì)我們控制不了。　　

What happened to him was beyond his control. 他所遇到的事是他無(wú)法控制的。　　

She was really touched beyond words. 她確實(shí)感動(dòng)得無(wú)法形容。　　

beyond doubt 無(wú)疑的，毫無(wú)疑問(wèn)的　　

The truth of the story is beyond doubt. 這個(gè)故事的真實(shí)性是毫無(wú)疑問(wèn)的。　　

The evidence proves beyond doubt that he is innocent. 證據(jù)無(wú)疑表明，他是無(wú)辜的。　　

【注】有時(shí)可在doubt前加上all來(lái)加強(qiáng)語(yǔ)氣。如：　　

I believe beyond all doubt that he will achieve success. 我對(duì)他會(huì)獲得成功深信不疑。　　

beyond expression 無(wú)法形容，難以表達(dá)　　

The scenery was beautiful beyond expression. 景色美不可言。　　

I feel a sense of satisfaction and gratitude beyond expression. 我感到說(shuō)不出的滿足和感激。　　

beyond hope 沒(méi)有希望　　

Well, it’s beyond hope now. 唉，現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)沒(méi)有希望了。　　

【注】若表示“沒(méi)有……的希望”，則用beyond hope of。如：　　

She is blind beyond hope of cure. 她瞎到?jīng)]有希望治好的地步。

beyond measure 無(wú)法估量地，極其，非常

【注】有時(shí)也說(shuō)above measure。如：

Virtue is beyond price. 美德乃無(wú)價(jià)之寶。　　

Their friendship is beyond price. 他們的友誼是極其珍貴的。　　

【注】有時(shí)也說(shuō)without price或above price。如：　　

Love is above price. 愛(ài)情無(wú)價(jià)。　　

Sincerity is without price. 真誠(chéng)是無(wú)價(jià)的。　　

beyond question 毫無(wú)疑問(wèn)的（地），確實(shí)的（地）　　

Her good intentions were beyond question. 她的好意是毫無(wú)疑問(wèn)的。

【注】question前有時(shí)可用all加強(qiáng)語(yǔ)氣。如：
