一、same后接介詞as　　

表示漢語的“與……一樣或相同”，英語習慣上有the same as，不用 the same with, the same like等。如：　　

We treat boys exactly the same as girls. 男孩女孩我們都同等對待。　　

Why do you always try to do the same as your brother? 你為什么總想跟你兄弟做同樣的事情?　　

Animal tests are often used, although there is no guarantee that the results will be the same as the effects on humans. 我們常常用動物進行試驗，盡管我們無法保證試驗結果與在人身上做試驗取得的效果一樣。　　

有時the same后接有被修飾的名詞（此時的same為形容詞）。如：　　

She’s travelling on the same train as you. 她和你乘坐同一班火車。　　

The cinema is showing the same film as last week. 電影院演的還是上星期的那部影片。　　

By and large, the rules for healthy eating are the same during pregnancy as at any other time. 總的來說，懷孕期間健康飲食的原則和其他時期是一致的。　　

二、same 后接介詞for　　

主要用于 Same for me，意思是“我也要同樣的”。如：　　

—I’ll have a coffee. 我要一杯咖啡。　　

—Same for me, please. 我也要一杯。　　

Waitress: What would you like? 服務員：你想要什么？　　

Tom: Hamburger, fries, and coffee. 湯姆：我要漢堡、薯條和咖啡。

John: For dessert, I’ll have strawberry ice cream. 約翰：甜點我要草莓冰激凌。

三、same 后接介詞to　　

主要見于以下兩類句表達：　　

1. (the) same to you 主要于回敬問候，意思是“你也一樣”“也祝你……”。如：

“Happy Christmas!” “And the same to you!” “圣誕快樂!”“圣誕快樂!”　　

“Have a nice Easter.” “And the same to you Bridie.” “復活節(jié)快樂。”“你也一樣，布賴迪。”　　

“Goodbye, then, and thanks. Good luck.” “The same to you.” “那么，再見，謝謝。祝你好運。”“也祝你好運。”

有時用于反唇相譏。如：　　

“Stupid!” “Same to you!” “愚蠢!”“你才愚蠢!”　

2. it’s all the same to sb 對某人不重要，對某人來說無所謂。如：　　

it was all the same to me where it was being sold. 它在哪里銷售對我來說無所謂。　　

It’s all the same to me whether we eat now or later. 我們現在吃也行，過一會兒吃也行——我無所謂。

四、same 后接介詞with　　

主要用于it’s the same with sb / sth，意思是“某人或某事物也一樣（也是如此）”。

Butterflies come from caterpillars. It’s the same with moths. 蝴蝶由毛蟲演變而來。飛蛾也是一樣。 　　

說明：It’s the same with…相當于 The same goes for…。如：　　

Terry needs to relax more, and the same goes for you. 特里需要冷靜些，你也一樣。　　

Britain has a high level of unemployment but the same goes for many other countries. 英國失業(yè)率很高——但許多國家也如此。　　

He thought the lunch was terrible, and the same goes for all the rest of us too. 他認為這頓午餐糟透了，我們其他人也有同感。　　

五、same 后接其他詞　　

以下各句中 the same 后的介詞皆因句意所需，而非與 the same 構成搭配：
