“in+形容詞+ detail”的用法

in detail 是固定搭配，意思“詳細地”，里面的 detail 必須用單數，并且前面也不用冠詞，但有時 detail 之前可用形容詞修飾，此時detail 也通常用單數形式，偶爾也可用復數形式。例如：

1. 郭杰克主編的《當代英語搭配大詞典》(高等教育出版社，2002年11月第1版)P434-435：in complete detail十分詳細地

The likeness was perfect in every detail.畫像的每個微小地方都惟妙惟肖。

describe in full detail詳盡地描述

I have studied this subject in great detail.我已經非常詳細地研究了這個問題。

We’ll talk about it in more detail later on.我們以后再更詳細地談論它。

He described the event in graphic detail .他詳細而生動地描述那件事。

treat a topic in minute detail極其詳盡地論述一個問題
