man enough中man是什么詞？

我見過這樣一個句子：Are you man enough for this dangerous job? 請問，man是個什么詞？為何不加冠詞？

這句話中，man實際當形容詞用，意為“男子氣概的；勇敢的”，相當于manly，所以之前沒有冠詞，被enough修飾。又如：

I asked whether he was man enough to fight. 我問他是否敢于去戰(zhàn)斗。

I made a mistake and I’m man enough to acknowledge it. 我犯了錯，但我有足夠的勇氣去承認。

Is he man enough to play the role?　 　他是個足夠擔當這項任務的男子漢嗎。

But I’m man enough to face them today! 但是我夠爺們兒,有足夠的勇氣去面對自己的一切過錯!

He was not man enough to confess the truth. 他沒有足夠的勇氣去承認事實真相。

此外，fool一詞也有此用法，相當于foolish。例如：

I was fool enough to believe him. 我夠愚蠢了竟然信了他的話。

You are fool enough to rent that house. 你租那棟房子真夠傻的了。

You were fool enough to join that club. 參加那個俱樂部你真是蠢極了。

I have been fool enough to believe what he said.我太傻了，竟會相信他的話。

We are not fool enough to believe in such a thing. 我們還沒有傻到會相信這種事情的地步。
