next短前前加定冠詞的基本規律

next day, next week, next year, next month, next term等有時帶定冠詞，有時不帶定冠詞。如：

一、當以現在為時間為背景來談論下周、下月、第二天、明年是，應該使用不帶定冠詞的next。

Is he coming this weekend or next weekend? 他是在這周末來，還是下周末來。

I shall go there next year. 我將于明年去那里。

By the end of next year, they will have finished work on the new stadium. 到明年年底他們將完成新體育場的工程。

二、當以過去某一時間點或將來某個時間點為背景時，則next常常帶定冠詞the。如：

He came again the next morning.

He will spend the first week of his holiday in Egypt and the next week in Italy.

但是，請注意，next前不加定冠詞the也可以以過去時間為時間背景。例如：

Next morning she was down early. 第二天早晨她下樓很早。

They predicted a crisis next month. 他們語言了下個月的危機。
