副詞perhaps的三點小用法

1. 用作副詞，表示“也許”，表不確定語氣，常位于句首，有時也放在句中或句末。如：

Perhaps we’ll find him at the hotel. 也許我們會在旅館里找到他。

This is perhaps the best dish in this restaurant. 這也許是這個餐館最好的菜。

You’d better go now, perhaps. 也許你最好現在去。

2. 可用于省略句中，尤其是簡略答語中。如：

A：Will he lend us the money? 他會借錢給我們嗎?

B：Perhaps so (not). 也許會（不會）吧。

3. 用于Perhaps you would…句式，意為“是否可以請你……”“請你……好嗎”。如：

Perhaps you would take this suitcase for me. 你給我拿一下這個手提箱行嗎。

Perhaps you would be kind enough to open the door. 請你把門關上好嗎?
