decide的兩個常用搭配

1. 表示“決定做某事”，其后要接不定式，不能接動名詞。如：

They decided to delay the meeting. 他們決定把會議推遲。

She decided to call his office. 她決定給他辦公室打電話。

若要接動名詞，應先接介詞 on（但不如用不定式結構常見）。如：

We decided on leaving. 我們決定離開。

He decided on going abroad. 他決定出國。(www.hz123456.com)

另外，decide on之后還可接名詞或代詞，表示“對……作出決定”或“選定……”。如：

We haven’t decided on a price but we’re open to offers. 價錢未定，歡迎顧主開價。

After seeing all the candidates we’ve decided on this one. 我們見了所有的候選人，決定選這位。

2. 表示“決定不做某事”，可用 decide not to do 或 decide against doing。如：

He decide not to change [against changing] his job. 他決定不換工作。

They have decided not to move [against moving] to London. 他們已決定不搬到倫敦去。

另外，decide against 之后也可接名詞或代詞。如：

After talking the matter over, they decided against the plan. 經過反復討論，他們決定不采用該計劃。
