size的用法要點(diǎn)與搭配習(xí)慣

1. 用于of a size，意為“大小相同”“尺寸相同”。如：

They’re both of a size. 這兩個(gè)大小相同。

All the desks are of a size. 所有這些課桌的大小都是一樣的。

2. 用于the size of sth，有兩個(gè)意思是：一是表示“某物的大小”，二是表示“與某物大小相當(dāng)”。如：

What matters is the size of the office. The location is of secondary importance. 關(guān)鍵是要看辦公室的大小，位置是次要的。

Pluto is much smaller—only about the size of our moon. 冥王星要小得多，只有我們的月亮這么大。

3. 詢問尺寸或尺碼的大小，英語通常用what size。如：
