examine sb on (in) sth中用介詞on與in的區分

在 examine sb on (in) sth 中，用介詞 in 通常指在某一學科方面進行測試，用介詞 on 通常指在某一問題上進行測試。如：

He examined the students in English (Grammar). 他測試學生的英語（語法）。

I’ll examine you on the work you have done. 我將對所做的工作進行測驗。

注意以下兩句同義：

正：The teacher examined the students in Chemistry.
