注：① 當such…that之間用“不定冠詞 + 形容詞 + 單數(shù)名詞”時，可以用so…that替換，但得將不定冠詞和形容詞顛倒位置。例如：

That was such an important party that I had to take part in it.

→ That was so important a party that I had to take part in it.

② 當such…that之間的可數(shù)名詞前用many或few修飾，不可數(shù)名詞前用much或little修飾時，只能用so…that構(gòu)成結(jié)果從句。例如：

I’ve got so few apples that I cannot divide them among the children.

I have so much homework to do that I can’t go to the cinema with you.

③ 當little表示“小”而不是“少”的意思時，仍然用such…that. 試比較：

They are such little children that they cannot do the work well.  這些孩子太小，他們做不好這項工作。

I have so little money that I can’t buy the computer. 我的錢太少買不起這部電腦。

such…that萬不可與such…as混用。such…that中的that是連詞，用來引導(dǎo)狀語從句，在從句中不充當任何成分；而such…as中的as是關(guān)系代詞，用來引導(dǎo)定語從句并在從句中擔當主語、賓語或表語。試比較：

Zhangjiajie is such a marvelous place that everyone wants to visit it. 張家界是如此神奇的地方，人人都想去游玩。（that引導(dǎo)狀語從句）

Zhangjiajie is such a marvelous place as everyone wants to visit. 張家界是如此一個人人都想去游玩的神奇的地方。（as引導(dǎo)定語從句并作賓語）
