officer的主要意思與用法

1. 表示陸軍、空軍或海軍等的“軍官”。如：

Army officers are well paid. 部隊的軍官收入高。

She is an officer in the Air Force. 她是一位空軍軍官。

2. 表示政府或大機構的“官員”“高級職員”。如：

Bank officers are well-paid. 銀行高級職員薪金高。

We elect the Club’s officers at the first meeting of each year. 我們在每年的第一次會議上選舉俱樂部官員。

有時可與official換用，如a public officer [official] 公務員，a government officer [official] 政府官員，等。

3. 表示“警察”，常用作稱謂。如：
