有關冠詞用法的三點注意

1. 不要漏用單數可數名詞前的必用冠詞：在通常情況下，單數可數名詞前應有冠詞。若泛指，用不定冠詞；若特指，則用定冠詞。如：

由于是一位善良、有趣的老師，大家都很喜歡他。

誤：Being friendly and interesting teacher, he is loved by everyone.

正：Being a friendly and interesting teacher, he is loved by everyone.

2. 用不同的冠詞有時會導致不同的含義。如：

He has gone to school. 他上學讀書去了。

He has gone to the school. 他到這所學校去了。

Most children like school. 大多數小孩喜歡上學。

Most children like the school. 大多數小孩喜歡這所學校。

English is very interesting. 英語很有趣。

The English are very interesting. 英國人很有趣。

They are playing in front of the classroom. 他們在教室前面玩。

They are playing in the front of the classroom. 他們在教室前部玩。

3. the的特殊用法：the 有時用于比較級和最高級前，此時的 the 有人認為是冠詞，也有人認為是副詞。如：

He likes you the best. 他最喜歡你。

He’s had a holiday and looks the better for it. 他度假之后，氣色好多了。

The younger you are，the easier it is to learn. 年紀越輕，學習越容易。
