可用不定式作賓語補(bǔ)足語的常見動詞有advise, allow, ask, bear, beg, cause, command, encourage, expect, forbid, force, get, hate, help, intend, invite, leave, like, mean, need, oblige, order, permit, persuade, prefer, request, remind, teach, tell, trouble, want, warn, wish等。如：

The policeman commanded him to stop. 警察命令他停下。

He reminded me to read the book. 他提醒我要看看這本書。

The doctor advised me to take a complete rest.  醫(yī)生建議我完全休息。

My parents don't allow me to go out at night. 我父母不允許我晚上出去。

My wife encouraged me to apply for the job. 我妻子鼓勵我申請這項(xiàng)工作。

The teacher forbids the students to read such books. 老師不準(zhǔn)學(xué)生看那樣的書。

We invited him to take part in the celebration. 我們邀請他一起參加慶祝會。
